Celebrating New Spaces and the Community That Made Them Possible

Yesterday was a proud and memorable day for everyone at Halas Homes as we celebrated two important milestones: our Day Centre Open Day and the official opening of our newly refurbished care home lounge.

The event gave us the opportunity to welcome residents, families, friends, professionals, trustees, supporters and members of our local community to see first-hand the work we do and the positive difference our services make every day.

Opening Our Doors

Our Day Centre Open Day was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the wide range of activities, opportunities and support available to the people who attend our service. Visitors were able to meet our fantastic team, explore our facilities and learn more about how we support people to live fulfilling, independent and meaningful lives.

It was a pleasure to welcome so many people through our doors and to share the passion, dedication and care that our staff bring to their roles every day.

A New Lounge for Residents to Enjoy

We were equally delighted to officially unveil our newly refurbished care home lounge.

The transformation has created a bright, modern and welcoming space where residents can relax, enjoy activities, spend time with loved ones and make new memories together. Creating environments that feel comfortable, homely and enriching is an important part of supporting wellbeing, and we are incredibly proud of the finished result.

While the refurbishment has brought a beautiful new space, it also represents something much bigger—our ongoing commitment to continually improving the lives of the people we support.
