As part of National Volunteers' Week, we were delighted to host a special Afternoon Tea to celebrate and thank the wonderful volunteers who give their time, energy, and support to Halas Homes.
Volunteers play an important role in helping us provide meaningful experiences and opportunities for the people we support. Their kindness, dedication, and enthusiasm make a real difference every day, and this event was our way of showing just how much they are appreciated.
The afternoon featured a beautiful homemade spread, lovingly prepared by Sophie, our Community Engagement Officer, and Rowan, our Life Skills and Employability Coach. From sweet treats to delicious sandwiches, the refreshments helped create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where everyone could come together and enjoy each other's company.
The event provided an opportunity to reflect on the invaluable contribution our volunteers make across the organisation. Whether they are supporting activities, spending time with the people we support, helping at events, or simply bringing smiles and positivity wherever they go, their impact is felt throughout Halas Homes.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Kiana, Lydia, Susy, and Colin. Your commitment, generosity, and willingness to give your time are truly appreciated. We are incredibly fortunate to have you as part of the Halas Homes family, and we are grateful for everything you do to support our work.
Thank you for helping us make a difference every day. 💜
