🎭 A Wonderful Experience with Birmingham University – Relaxed Performance of Robin Hood

We recently had the pleasure of working alongside Birmingham University, after being invited to attend their relaxed performance of Robin Hood — and it truly was a fantastic experience from start to finish.

Relaxed performances are designed to support individuals with sensory needs, creating a more comfortable, inclusive, and welcoming theatre environment. The thoughtful adjustments made throughout the performance made a real difference to everyone attending.

Guests were able to make use of sensory objects, access quiet breakout rooms, and follow clear signage throughout the venue, helping everyone feel safe, supported, and at ease. These carefully considered details allowed individuals to enjoy the experience in a way that suited their own needs and comfort levels.

The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and welcoming, always on hand to offer support and reassurance. Their kindness and understanding created a calm and positive atmosphere, ensuring everyone felt included and valued.

And of course, the performance itself was absolutely amazing — full of energy, excitement, and brilliant storytelling. It was a joy to watch and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
